ORIGINAL LAPRET WORLD VERSIONS
They may use standard playing cards, familiar categories of play, longstanding table vocabulary, or broadly recognized game actions where appropriate. Those familiar building blocks do not define the LaPret World version.
The LaPret World version is expressed through its particular combination of written rules, sequencing, scoring, progression, terminology, special systems, game modes, player choices, artwork, logos, graphic presentation, cards, software, interface, audiovisual elements, digital behavior, player-facing copy, and other original creative elements.
A familiar deck does not make two games the same. A familiar action does not make two rule systems the same. A familiar starting point does not erase what has been independently created around it.
